Yesterday I went to an inaguration party for Obama. It was really really fun. Everyone got dressed up and we went to one of the nicest hotels in Barcelona. It was hosted by "democrats abroad" but democrats, republicans, americans, spaniards, and people from other countries came. It cost 20 euros, but it was definetly worth it. We watched the inaguration on a huge screen and it gave me a great sense of unity over here. I even bought "el pais" the main newspaper for all over spain because there was so much in it about Obama and American politics in general.
